Our Sculpture Facial Massage
Facial massage is one of the cleansing processes we use, and
also the most ancient method of healing.
It can manipulate blood flow, sebaceous production, increase muscle
tone, detoxify acid waste in the tissue and muscles, and remove blockage of
fatty tissue and impurities. It also relaxes the nerves and assist in
oxygenating the skin.
Why do we need professional exfoliation?
The human skin produces about one million skin cells every 40
minutes. As our skin cells renew from the deepest layer of the epidermis, more
surface cells harden and lose moisture. Eventually these cells detach from skin
and are replaced by younger cells moving up from the deeper layers. It is known
as cell turn over. This process, known
as desquamation, eliminates damaged and contaminated cells that carry
pollutants and microorganisms from the environment. These superficial skin
cells don’t always effectively fall from skin and may cause clogging and
congestion of sweat glands while leaving the skin’s surface dry and dull
looking. Professional exfoliation is
crucial for removing the accumulating dead cells and help revealing the newer
cells for a fresher, healthier appearance. This is a critical step in any skincare
regimen.
During all facials we include time for relaxation and
rejuvenation, as you receive a gentle massage on your neck, shoulders, décolleté,
scalp, arms and hands.

Waxing
Waxing is the most
traditional, safe and preferred method of hair removal all over the world. You
can enjoy the smooth and silky skin for about 4 to 6 weeks, with less hair
growing back and less pain after each waxing session. By removing the hair with
its follicle, the hair takes longer to grow, in addition to being finer, weaker
and softer. For best results, hair should be 1/4 inch in length. We use new
supplies for each visit.

Topical exfoliants used on the treatment areas such as
Retin-A, Renova, and hydroquinone, oral acne medications such as Accutane,
blood-thinning medications, and topical/oral cortisone medications make the
skin more sensitive and increase the likelihood of irritation and other
complications. All such medication and product usage should be stopped 2-3
months prior to waxing.
